1% vs 99%

For those who read Dutch, see my article on the economic crisis in De Volkskrant. In it I argue that new, more stringent financial services regulation is urgently needed to curb the undesired effects of the 'financialization' of the world economy. This phenomenon has deleterious effects on the stability and profitability of the 'real' (that is, non-financial sector) economy, and, hence, damaging effect for the people dependent on it.
